Deel twee heet The Corroding Age of Wounds.

It took Kratornas some time to achieve some decent exposure. After a bunch of demos, things seemed to pick up some speed for Bruno. There was a split LP with Balberith and a debut and now it seems he’s gained enough momentum to be signed on one of Black Metal’s most respected label: Kneel Before The Master’s Throne.

It’s been a month of doing nothing (or something not related to ‘metal’) and I tried to rest myself. Got too many complains regarding the ordering system of Nightvenom e-Store, but that’s all about it. That’s a big headache to fix! What I do is go direct to paypal and take the orders but there are people who simply just don’t want to trust and deal direct - because I came from THIRD WORLD, wow! Should I care? No! And don’t bother emailing for follow up about getting the stuff if that’s the case then, because I WON’T and CAN’T fix the ordering system of the shop!

Kratornas is a 1 man black metal band hailing from the Phillipines which I was describe as extreme fast war/black/grind/thrash and this is a review of their 2009 album “The Corriding Age Of Wounds”. Drums on this recording are really fast with alot of blast beats that make Immortal sound like a doom metal band in comparison and they also slow down at times when the music gets slower, to give the music an even edge.

I got notified about this review by the Covenant Zine staff. It’s all about a review on ‘The Corroding Age of Wounds’. This is written in Italian I think and if you ask me, I didn’t understand it of course. Translators just don’t work and I don’t mind reading from there - it’s a war of words using that system. So whether this is good or bad, I don’t know. Just to keep the blood flow…

Bruno Zamora has been battering away at his one-man brand of vicious and raw black metal for over a decade, and two years ago released the first proper full-length, Over the Fourth Part of the Earth, which showed the man’s potential for over the top, disgusting primal chaos, black metal with traces of death and grind that amplify its extremity. The Corroding Age of Wounds is a sound follow-up, but be warned: this is not the type of black metal record you listen to for catchy or hypnotic rhythms, it’s an almost unmitigated, barbaric onslaught of filth.
